What each item actually does
Filters the air entering the cabin/climate system, keeping dust, pollen and haze particles out.
Watch out for: Weak air-con airflow, musty smell, or fogging that clears slowly. Malaysia's haze and humidity make this the most frequent item.
Brake fluid absorbs moisture over time, which lowers its boiling point and softens the pedal. EVs use the friction brakes less, so the fluid ages by calendar time, not by wear.
Watch out for: Spongy pedal, longer stopping distance, or a brake warning after heavy downhill driving.
Coolant (antifreeze) circulates through the battery pack, motor and inverter to keep them in their safe temperature window — it is what protects fast-charging performance.
Watch out for: Reduced DC charging speed in hot weather, or a coolant level warning.
An EV has no gearbox, but it does have a single-speed reduction gear. Its oil lubricates and cools the gears that transfer motor torque to the wheels.
Watch out for: Whining or droning from the front axle that rises with speed can mean tired reducer oil.
The C10+/C10 REEV range-extender engine and the reducer system rely on clean oil. The filter traps metal and carbon particles before they circulate.
Watch out for: Replaced together with the reducer oil at the long-interval service.
Prices are the official Leapmotor Malaysia retail parts and labour rates and exclude tyres, wipers, cabin consumables, brake pads/discs and any repair work. Service is due at whichever comes first — the mileage or the time interval. Always confirm the final quotation with your service centre.
